We acknowledge and pay respect to the Traditional Owners of the lands upon which our campus is situated, the people of the Boon Wurrung and Woi Wurrung, who have created art, made music and told their stories here for thousands of generations. Bachelor of Fine Arts (Painting)

A soft hum reverberates through my network of images. Ribbons and braids melodise alongside patterns and textures within a private and intimate world that is dimly lit and rendered in browns and soft creams. This conservative and intimate colour palette depicts fabrics, hair and surfaces that are rich in texture and perceived value. As a collective, I have used the motif of hair and the construction and deconstruction of fabric, to explore themes of femininity, uniformity, sexuality, perception and beauty.
