Working with sculpture and spatial practices, I make portals that connect the everyday constructed world to realms of fantasy and nature. My use of everyday objects signals the potential for mystical transformation. Through painting and stitching, I infuse these objects and materials with new life, then combine them to create fantastical environments that manipulate the senses and blur the boundaries between reality and make-believe. They become portents of transformation, places to consider alternative world-building.
