Grace Murphy
Grace Murphy is a painter, working with the traditional intimate medium of oil painting on wood panels. The artworks on display offer a unique perspective on human-animal life through ornamental depictions of out of place animals. The subjects exist in an artificially constructed moment, symbolising numerous complexities in human animal relationships - domestication, personification or self projections, deviation in evolution and value of animals.
